When an ancient hunger is awakened in the far reaches of space, the Alterian High Council sends ordained Collector Maxy Prime to investigate with her nimble know-it-all sidekick, Gabby Jinx. There they discover an ambitious professor and her students in the grips of the Thangarian Pleasure Pod, a mega-parasite who's giving everyone good vibrations while slowly sapping them of their life essence. It's up to the Alterians - hedonistic heroes of here and beyond - to put a stop to the tentacled terror.
