The lives and loves of four feisty African-American women, and their male friend, form the hit formula for this long-running sitcom. Golden Brooks, Jill Jones, Traci Ellis Ross, and Persia White play the foursome navigating the sometimes choppy waters of life in Los Angeles. Joan (Ross) succeeds in her career as a lawyer, but she struggles to find that same success in love.
